I am a writer and teacher living in Illinois with my cat, Burden.

Some of my stories have appeared in Boulevard, The New Territory, Booth, Atticus Review, Months to Years, and Pangyrus. My story "The Sweepstakes" was nominated for the 2024 Pushcart Prize, and "Saints of Missouri" was runner-up for the 2024 Boulevard Emerging Writers Contest.

 

When I am not writing, I try to teach high school English and pick fights with ChatGPT.
