Cole Chamberlain

I am a writer living in Iowa City with my cat, Burden.

Some of my stories have appeared in Boulevard, The New Territory, Booth, Atticus Review, The Brooklyn Review, and Pangyrus. My story "The Sweepstakes" was nominated for the 2024 Pushcart Prize, and "Saints of Missouri" was runner-up for the 2024 Boulevard Emerging Writers Contest.​​​ In 2024, I served as a fiction judge and instructor for the Skyway Writers' Conference.

​I have worked in social work, education, advocacy, and at a Dairy Queen. These experiences inform my writing.

When not writing, I serve as a tip-kitten to dictatorial drag queens, fall off horses, and am generally very busy.​​​ I am currently pursuing an MFA in fiction writing from the Iowa Writers' Workshop.
